Morning Glory

Every morning I'm greeted by these dainty morning glories blooming right outside of my bedroom window. I recently read that these beauties bloom and wilt within 12 hours. I can't think of a more powerful reminder of the fragility of life.

James 4:14 reads, "yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes."

Life is beautiful, like these lovelies, but it is fleeting quickly. I'm reminded and challenged to steward my gifts for the glory of God while I am on this earth.

Thank you, Lord, for giving me a tangible display that I only have so much time to live for you. Use my words, my actions, my choices to share Your hope and truth.🌸
