Have you ever used this phrase to emphasize that you already agree with someone on the point they are trying to get across? I sure have. But aren’t there times when we need to have the truth spoken to us time and time again?
I don’t know about you, but there have been various moments in life that I have needed reminders of God’s faithfulness. In moments of doubt, wandering, or wondering if He’s forgotten about me, I’ve needed my husband and friends to encourage me to press on in faith.
Sometimes preaching to the choir is obnoxious but other times, hearing truth repeatedly can serve as a source of encouragement to keep us moving forward in faith, especially in difficult seasons.
