About Dawn

Dawn Wallis is an award-winning author and speaker who helps women discover hope, healing, and joy through the redeeming love of a faithful God. After walking through seasons of deep brokenness, betrayal, and loss, Dawn experienced God’s restoring grace firsthand, and it became her greatest joy to help other women find that same hope as they embrace faith, forgiveness, and freedom.

Originally from Virginia, Dawn now calls the Golden Isles of Georgia home, where she soaks up sunshine, chases beauty in everyday moments, and finds joy in flowers, butterflies, bike rides, and salty coastal air. She is a proud mom to three grown children and one spoiled (ahem, well-loved) fur child, and she credits her husband Nic’s unwavering support for helping her finally achieve her dream of becoming a published author.

Dawn’s background as a small-town columnist shaped her love of storytelling. Today, that same heartfelt voice, filled with Southern warmth and a dash of humor, flows through everything she writes and speaks.

Dawn's Story

Once a woman who seemed to have it all together, Dawn spent years hiding behind a façade of performance and perfectionism. When her carefully held world inevitably shattered, she lost everything but her faith, and God began to piece her life back together with His grace and goodness.

Her testimony reveals a powerful truth: God does not discard our broken pieces, He restores them into something even more beautiful. Through candid, honest storytelling, Southern warmth, and a dash of humor, Dawn encourages women to exchange perfectionism for peace and discover that hope is not found in flawless lives, but in a faithful God.

Today, Dawn overflows with hope, not because her life is perfect, but because she has seen firsthand what God can rebuild from the pieces.
