Finding Strength in God’s Promise: Be Strong and Courageous

“So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.” Deuteronomy 31:6

What an encouraging promise to start the week! We need not fear whatever comes our way because God personally goes ahead of us! Did you catch that specificity? The King of the Universe personally goes before us. Mind blown!

This week, as part of my Bible study, I’m memorizing this powerful verse. I want to hide it in my heart to strengthen my faith when it begins to falter in fear. This promise, spoken by Moses to Joshua as he prepared to lead the people into the Promised Land, is just as relevant for us today.

While we may not know what tomorrow holds, we can find tremendous assurance and peace in knowing that God is faithful to walk with us every step of the way. Even when we feel alone, He will never fail in His promise to stay close. So, let’s pause feelings of panic and fear, embrace this truth, and face the week with courage!💖
